Anarkali / Gown
Bust / Chest
Around the fullest part of the bust.
Under Bust
Around the rib cage directly below the bust.
Waist
Around the natural waist.
Hip
Around the fullest part of the hips.
Shoulder Width
Across the back from one shoulder tip to the other.
Shoulder to Waist
From the highest shoulder point down to the natural waist.
Armhole
Around the shoulder joint and under the armpit.
Sleeve Length
From the shoulder tip to where the sleeve should end.
Sleeve Round (Bicep)
Around the fullest part of the upper arm.
Front Neck Depth
From the base of the neck to the desired front neckline.
Back Neck Depth
From the base of the back neck to the desired back neckline.
Full Length
From the highest shoulder point to the floor, wearing your heels.
Churidar / Bottom
Bottom Waist
Around where the bottom will sit, usually at or just below the natural waist.
Hip
Around the fullest part of the hips.
Thigh
Around the fullest part of one thigh.
KneeOptional
Around the knee.
CalfOptional
Around the fullest part of the calf.
Bottom Opening / Ankle
Around the ankle, or the opening width you'd like.
Bottom Length
From the waist down the side of the leg to where it should end (add extra for churidar gathers).
Style choices
You'll pick these when you place your order.
Measuring tips
- Use a soft cloth measuring tape, not a metal one.
- Measure over the undergarments you'll wear with the outfit.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight. You should be able to slip a finger under it.
- Stand straight and relaxed. Ask someone to help for back and shoulder measurements.
- If you have a garment that fits you well, measuring it is a great cross-check.
